The Holy Spirit is God’s power. Jesus said it was good for Him to go away so The Helper could come. Acts 1:8 says, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you….”
Peter and the apostles needed God’s power to start the church.
You are like a glove. The Holy Spirit is like a hand. The hand fills the glove making it able to hold things and do God’s work.
Try this game:
Blindfold a friend or someone in your family. Now give them a ball. Tell that person how to put the ball in a basket without peeking. Now trade places.
In the game, the person giving the instructions is the Holy Spirit. You have to follow the directions and listen well to get the ball in the basket just like you have to follow the Holy Spirit’s guidance to do God’s work.
