Peter felt bad that he denied knowing Jesus. Why would he do that?
He was scared. Have you ever done something wrong? Does God forgive you when you mess up? If you admit to Him that you messed up and ask Him to forgive you, He will. Not because He has to, but because He has promised He will. And God always keeps His promises.
Jesus told Peter to feed his sheep. Who are God’s sheep? Anyone who believes Jesus died and rose again are God’s sheep. Peter went on to start the church and teach many people about Jesus. You can do that too! If you believe, tell everyone you know so they can believe too!
Here is a craft. It is a little difficult, but with a little wiggling, you can do it!
Fold a paper in half
Round the top corners
Cut apart
Color 1 paper your favorite color
Cut the non-round end into 5 strips.
Hint: the cuts need to be just a little longer than the paper is wide. You can place the other paper on top perpendicular to the bottom one and make a line.
Weave the strips on together. Over then under. The next one under then over.
Write letters on each square like in picture.
