The Pharisees thought they knew God, but Jesus kept telling them they didn’t understand Him. They were like the fig tree that didn’t have any fruit. They weren’t being useful to God. They didn’t like this at all. Besides, Jesus had flipped over their tables. How rude, right? But Jesus was wanted the temple to be for worship and prayer. Not for business.
